Reassessment of reimbursement status for medicinal products for hypertension

In March 2006, the Danish Medicines Agency contacted a number of scientific societies to clarify certain aspects of the treatment of hypertension in Denmark. We have now received answers from all of the scientific societies and at the Reimbursement Committee meeting on 12 December 2006, the discussions of reimbursement status of medicinal products for hypertension will be resumed. The answers from the scientific societies and the Danish Medicines Agency’s letter of 6 March are available via the fact box to the right (in Danish only).
