Prescriptions issued by emergency service doctors limited to seven days in Denmark
As of 10 February 2012, the prescriptions issued by emergency service doctors in Denmark will only be valid for 7 days from issuance of the prescription. The period of validity is shortened to reduce the risk that outdated prescriptions are dispensed by mistake.

Pharmacists and pharmaconomists qualified outside Denmark can participate in an EU competition
At the Danish Medicines Agency, we assess the qualifications of foreign pharmacists and pharmaconomists who apply for authorisation to work at a Danish pharmacy. The EU Commission and the upcoming Polish EU Presidency are presently looking for real-life stories from citizens who have experience from living and working abroad.

Danish pharmacies now accept foreign prescriptions
From 1 April 2011, Danish pharmacies accept prescriptions issued by a physician or dentist in another EU country, Norway or Iceland.
