Implementation of Braille (raised dots for the blind and partially sighted) on medicine packages

Please be advised that the name and strength in Braille (raised dots for the blind and partially sighted people) must appear on the outer packaging of medicine packages in Denmark, cf. section 23 of the Danish executive order on labelling*, no later than 30 October 2010 (the expiry of the five-year transition period) at the time when the medicine is supplied to the wholesaler.  

Please be aware that the laboratory of the Danish Medicines Agency intends to follow-up on the implementation of this requirement after the expiry of the transitional period.
