    We are building a new website

    The new website is being developed to combine the websites of the former National Board of Health and the Danish Medicines Agency which merged into the Danish Health and Medicines Authority on 1 March 2012. Our organisation has grown to some 700 employees.

    About changes of reimbursement for medicine

    The Danish Health and Medicines Authority and the Reimbursement Committee regularly review public reimbursements for medicine. We assess whether medicines should be granted general reimbursement, reimbursement on special conditions (conditional reimbursement) or not be granted reimbursement at all.

    Medicintjek: Mobile app with information about medicines

    If you have any questions about medicines, the new free Danish mobile app 'Medicintjek' may help you find the answers. 'Medicintjek', which literally means medicine check, is an app that can retrieve information in Danish about medicines. It is available for download on iPhone and Android mobiles and the Danish Medicines Agency offers it free of charge for anyone interested.
