The European Medicines Agency, EMEA, has reassessed the use of Tamiflu® in pregnant women and infants who are ill with influenza A(H1N1).
The EMEA has concluded that during a declared pandemic, the product may be useful in the treatment of pregnant and breastfeeding women and that it may be prescribed to children under the age of one in small doses.
