New EAN number and CVR number from 1 January 2013
From 1 January 2013, the Danish Health and Medicines Authority will have a common CVR number and EAN number, which replace the previous numbers of the former National Board of Health and the Danish Medicines Agency.

CVR, EAN and bank details after 1 March 2012
The Danish National Board of Health and the Danish Medicines Agency merge on 1 March 2012 to form a new Danish National Board of Health. Suppliers and contractors, etc. that do business with the Danish National Board of Health or the Danish Medicines Agency are to continue using the provided CVR, EAN and bank details until the organisational changes have been fully implemented.

A merger between the Danish National Board of Health and the Danish Medicines Agency becomes effective on 1 March 2012. Else Smith will be Chief Executive Officer of the new National Board of Health with Vagn Nielsen, presently Head of Department in the Danish Ministry of Health, as Deputy Director.

We are pleased to announce the expansion of the Danish Medicines Agency's extranet, DKMAnet, which offers electronic self-service solutions for companies. DKMAnet is expanded today, 21 November, with three new areas: company authorisations, clinical trials of medicines for human use, and follow-up on adverse reaction reports.
