Energy and environment

At the Danish Medicines Agency, we work determinedly to reduce our energy consumption and thus CO2 emission. We have committed ourselves to reduce energy consumption by 10% in 2011 compared with 2006. This is an ambitious goal because our organisation is expanding. In 2007, we had 477 employees, but this figure has grown to 563 in 2009.

As part of our efforts to reach our goal in 2011, an energy action plan has been prepared for us, which lays down specific energy saving initiatives.
