Dexofan® is made prescription-only

Today, the Danish Medicines Agency passed a decision to classify Dexofan® as a prescription-only medicine in dispensing group A on recommendation by the Licensing Committee. Medicine in dispensing group A can only be dispensed once on the same prescription.

The decision takes effect as of 18 April 2008 following which Dexofan® will no longer be available over the counter.
